In the graphic novel “Swimming in Darkness” by Lucas Harari, the 7132 Thermal Baths set the scene for mysterious events deep inside the mountains. French comic writer Harari was in any case inspired by the architecture to imagine a thriller. “Swimming in Darkness” tells the story of Pierre, an architectural school student so obsessed by the thermal baths that he suffers a burn-out while writing his thesis about it. Once back on his feet, the young lad travels to Vals to see for himself.
