Thermal Baths Anniversary - A special evening with Peter Zumthor
On 11 December 2026, we celebrate 30 years of Therme Vals with a special evening dedicated to architecture, music and culinary experiences.
At the heart of the evening is Peter Zumthor. Following a behind-the-scenes tour of the Therme, he will give a short presentation. Water, stone and light have shaped the Therme since it opened thirty years ago. Now, its architect returns to this very place to speak about his work and architecture.
The main pool will then become the stage for the anniversary concert. Under the artistic direction of Christoph Walter, musicians from the Surselva region will present a concert programme created especially for the anniversary year. The musical journey ranges from Gregorian chant and Swiss and Irish folk music to Mozart, Smetana and Edith Piaf.
The anniversary evening begins with a Louis Roederer apéritif and concludes with a festive dinner following the concert.
